Finance Manager/Senior Manager

In the Manager or Senior Manager Finance position you will play an important role in helping the company achieve and exceed its growth and profitability goals. You'll work with all facets of the business to provide visibility on all things financial to key stakeholders, surfacing new insights and improving processes. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, able to communicate financial and non-financial insights and recommend appropriate actions. This role reports to the Vice President of Finance.

 

Responsibilities

  • Report on, analyze, and provide proactive business insights into revenues and profits
  • Develop and maintain forecasting models to help the company manage risk and uncertainty
  • Work closely with the accounting team to ensure a timely and accurate financial close
  • Build partnerships with functional managers to understand drivers, trends, opportunities, and to share insights and recommendations
  • Answer business questions succinctly through data analysis both financial and non-financial
  • Initiate ad hoc projects, financial reporting and analysis
  • Maintain the detailed one-to-five year corporate model, forecasting all three financial statements
  • Incentive plan calculations, payout and related communications

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills and demonstrated intellectual curiosity
  • High attention to detail with ability to keep the big picture in mind
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to multitask and thrive in a fast paced, high growth environment
  • Results-focused, team-oriented and a strong work ethic
  • 5+ years of FP&A experience with 2+ years of experience in a subscription business
  • Background in corporate finance a plus
  • Bachelors in finance, accounting, or quantitative field
  • Experience with Salesforce, Netsuite (or similar ERP systems) and business intelligence tools a plus
  • Advanced skills with both MS Excel and Google Sheets are required
  • Good working knowledge of US GAAP required
