Senior Analyst, Corporate FP&A – REDWOOD CITY



Our client is continuing to build an innovative finance team that is helping the business scale on the IPO journey. They are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Corporate FP&A Team. You will be our main Anaplan model builder and be responsible for corporate reporting. You will play a critical role in setting up the financial dashboards/reports for our executive team and board meetings.

Our ideal candidate will possess a deep background using an enterprise-level financial planning system and be excited to own our Anaplan roadmap! We are looking for a top performer to build beyond what Excel can do!

General Job Duties & Responsibilities

Anaplan Model Builder

  • Scale our current Anaplan model for IPO readiness
  • Enhance existing and build new dashboards and modules for the finance executive team and leaders in other functions
  • Develop our Anaplan roadmap and project manage each build phase
  • Manage and scale the actuals load process
  • Develop the COE (center of excellence) – share best practices for model building, train future model builders, create reference docs


Corporate Reporting

  • Build corporate FP&A templates for actuals and forecast reporting
  • Prepare financial slides for quarterly board of directors meetings
  • Consolidate FP&A board slides and monthly reporting packages for the finance executive team
  • Partner with the (to be hired) investor relations & SEC reporting team
  • Own investor data requests and ad hoc analyses


Desired Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, or equivalent
  • 3+ years in FP&A/Corporate Finance, SaaS experience strongly preferred
  • Frequent user or model builder for an enterprise-level financial planning system (Anaplan preferred)
  • Superior analytical and modeling skills, including advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Exceptional organizational skills demonstrated through process/project management
  • Able to prioritize multiple projects and still be detail-oriented
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Experience working with a team and collaborating with various functions
