How long have you worked in accounting, finance, and/or tech? Recruiting?

I’ve worked in the accounting, finance, tech, and recruiting spaces for over 6 years.

How were you introduced to the recruiting industry?

It was originally part of my job responsibilities when I worked for the American Cancer Society.

Why do you look forward to working in accounting, finance or tech talent acquisition?

I am looking forward to working within the talent acquisition space because I enjoy helping people and building business relationships.

If you were to provide advice to peers in accounting, finance, or tech seeking to develop their careers, what would it be?

I’d recommend staying up-to-date on industry trends, going to networking events, and continuing their education to increase their marketability.

How do you plan on developing the DeWinter Group? What are your goals for the coming year?

My goals for the coming year are to learn as much as I can from the team, to develop my network of finance and accounting decisions makers, and to help DeWinter Group continue growing.

How do you plan on practicing the DeWinter Group’s Mission Statement: ‘We Build Our Network One Relationship at a Time’?

I’ve always valued building relationships with people and organizations, which makes practicing the DeWinter Group Mission Statement easy.

What’s your favorite thing to do in the Bay Area/Silicon Valley?

My favorite thing to do in the Bay Area/Silicon Valley is to spend time with my friends and family.

What did you originally want to be when you grew up?

I wanted to be a baseball player.

What’s your favorite ’90s jam?

That’s a tough one! I’m not the most musically inclined person, but I’d say anything by Snoop Dogg or Jay-Z.

I don’t always drink beer. But when I do, I prefer Dos Equis.
