A graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles, Linda began her career as an accountant with a large, multinational public accounting firm before transitioning into her first recruitment role in 1990, where she was quickly promoted to Executive Director for the company’s senior financial search team. She spent ten years overseeing all aspects of executive searches for Bay Area companies seeking financial leaders for their teams, including Chief Financial Officers, Vice Presidents of Finance, and Controllers. In 2000, she decided to take some time off to raise her two children and in 2015, she dove back into executive recruitment once more. Prior to joining the DeWinter Group team, Linda worked for an international retained executive search firm headquartered in the United Kingdom. In this role, she worked with Fortune 1000 to VC-backed startups to identify qualified executives for boards and leadership positions.
As Director of Search for the DeWinter Group’s retained search division,
DeWinter Partners, Linda applies her experience and expertise to augment the efforts of DeWinter Partners’ recruiting and business development teams. Having come from a family of tech entrepreneurs, Linda’s approach to recruitment stems from a deep understanding of how key employees are to a company’s success. Even more so, she understands the need to identify executives which not only have the right skill set but also the behavioral chemistry necessary to improve a company’s bottom line.
Outside of work, Linda enjoys spending her evenings and weekends with her two children, cooking, and reconnecting with nature. She is also an active volunteer for several organizations, including the National Charity League and the American Heart Association.
