Backend Engineer

Job Title:  Backend Engineer

Location:  Open to North American, LATAM, or EMEA locations (Remote)

Job Summary:

You will collaborate with diverse teams across multiple regions, working closely with other engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions and ensure the performance, reliability, and security of our platform.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain server-side logic and APIs.
• Implement and maintain microservices architecture.
• Ensure high performance, scalability, and security of backend systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Develop and maintain documentation for backend systems.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in backend development.
• Deploy and monitor applications in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong proficiency in at least one backend programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Go, Node.js).
• Experience with database design and management (SQL or NoSQL).
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and deployment processes.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, especially in a remote and globally distributed environment.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities across time zones.

• Pay Rate: $68-72 per hour
