We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Systems Analyst II to join our team and support the accelerated advancement of our client's global LIMS program initiatives. This role is pivotal in translating business needs into actionable technical development, ensuring alignment between stakeholders and development teams.

Reporting and Collaboration
This position reports directly to the Product Manager and involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams including engineering, product, quality, customer-facing software and downstream stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
• Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews to gather and validate requirements.
• Perform process mapping and gap analysis to identify areas for improvement.
• Create and manage user stories and maintain the product backlog.
• Participate in scrum ceremonies and agile development processes.
• Collaborate with developers and QE teams to ensure accurate implementation.
• Support system testing and validation efforts.
• Document business processes, requirements, and system specifications.
• Evaluate and improve existing processes for efficiency and scalability.
• Anticipate and resolve issues independently, taking a leadership role when needed.
• Lead and influence without authority to drive project success.
• Work under minimal supervision with latitude for independent judgment.

Familiarity with the following tools and technologies is desirable:
• Agile Project Management (e.g. Rally, Jira, etc.)
• Agile Estimation (e.g. PlanITpoker, GoRetro, etc.)
• Documentation (e.g. Confluence, etc.)
• Cloud Technologies (e.g. AWS, Azure, etc.)
• Cloud Data Warehousing (e.g. Snowflake, AWS Redshift)
• Relational Database Management System (e.g. MySQL, etc.)
• Big Data Technologies (e.g. Apache Hadoop, Apache Spark, MongoDB, DocumentDB, OpenSearch, etc.)
• Programming Languages (e.g. SQL, Python, Scala, etc.)
• APIs (e.g. Postman, etc.)
