Job Summary:
The Controller will be responsible for overseeing the accounting operations of the company. This role involves managing the financial reporting, accounting policies, and internal controls. In addition, the Controller will assist on various compliance related workflows (Form ADV, for example).
Responsibilities:
- Manage all accounting operations including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Payroll.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
- Manage the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors.
- Oversee the budgeting and forecasting process.
- Lead and mentor the accounting team.
- Implement and maintain internal controls.
- Provide financial analysis and reporting to management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Experience with [Accounting software, e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks].
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
