Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
We are seeking a Level 2 Deskside Support Specialist
to provide on-site technical support for end users. This role is critical to maintaining smooth IT operations, ensuring hardware and software reliability, and supporting ongoing project needs. The right candidate will be hands-on, customer-focused, and able to resolve technical issues with professionalism and urgency.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer support issues onsite in line with SLAs and procedures
- Configure and install hardware and software to meet customer specifications
- Create support documentation as required
- Provide deskside support for desktops, laptops, and peripherals (Windows and Mac OS)
- Collaborate with vendors to diagnose and resolve issues
- Manage and troubleshoot network connectivity and wireless access
- Perform hardware replacements (memory, keyboards, motherboards, etc.)
- Format, install, set up, and maintain desktop and laptop systems
- Evaluate product versions and recommend upgrade schedules
- Lift and move equipment up to 40 lbs as needed
- Windows 10 & 11 support expertise
- Laptop hardware troubleshooting and repair
- Software installation and configuration
- Proven ability to communicate technical concepts in user-friendly terms
- Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills
- Customer-centric approach with excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
