Job Summary:
The Financial Analyst will play a key role in supporting the financial planning and analysis activities of the company. This role involves analyzing financial data, creating reports, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making. The Financial Analyst will report to the Director of Finance. This is a new role due to company growth.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze financial reports and statements.
- Develop financial models and forecasts.
- Monitor financial performance against budget and forecasts.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide explanations for discrepancies.
- Assist in the annual budgeting and planning process.
- Support strategic planning initiatives with financial analysis.
- Evaluate investment opportunities and perform ROI analysis.
- Identify trends and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Present financial data and insights to management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of financial software and tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
