Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Workday HCM Contractor to support our HR technology team during a critical phase of optimization and stabilization post-Workday go-live. This role will focus on enhancing and configuring Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) modules, partnering closely with HR stakeholders, and driving process improvements aligned with our HR digital roadmap.

This position requires strong Workday functional expertise, hands-on configuration skills, and the ability to translate business needs into scalable, user-centric solutions. You will be instrumental in ensuring Workday delivers a seamless, efficient experience to employees, managers, and HR teams globally.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide Workday HCM functional and technical expertise across Core HCM, Business Processes, Organizations, and Security.
  • Partner with HR, IT, and other stakeholders to assess business requirements and configure Workday to support evolving HR needs.
  • Build, test, and deploy enhancements, including changes to business processes, notifications, security roles, and reports.
  • Troubleshoot system issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions in collaboration with internal teams or external vendors.
  • Support Workday data loads (EIBs), audits, and mass updates as needed.
  • Participate in release management activities: reviewing Workday release notes, assessing impact, testing new features, and enabling adoption.
  • Document configuration changes, business processes, and training materials to ensure knowledge transfer and sustainability.
  • Recommend system and process optimizations, automation opportunities, and user experience improvements
