Human-Machine Interface (HMI) Designer

Job Summary:
This role involves designing intuitive and engaging user interfaces for automotive systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of UX/UI principles, excellent visual design skills, and a passion for creating seamless and enjoyable user experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop visually compelling and user-friendly HMI concepts and interfaces.
- Create wire frames, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate design ideas.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs.
- Collaborate with engineers and developers to ensure seamless implementation of designs.
- Maintain design consistency and adhere to brand guidelines across all interfaces.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest HMI design trends and technologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in HMI design or UX/UI design.
- Strong portfolio showcasing HMI design projects and user-centered design processes.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- Excellent understanding of UX/UI principles, interaction design, and visual design.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Pay rate: $75 - $100 per hour.
