Human-Machine Interface Software Engineer

Job Summary:
This role involves developing Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI) and related software for both simulation environments and development vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in full-stack development, excellent collaboration skills, and a passion for creating cutting-edge automotive interfaces.
Responsibilities:
- Work with HMI developers to build tooling and help develop software for both simulation and development vehicles.
- Work with system engineers to architect flexible software implementations.
- Work with autonomous-driving engineering teams, negotiate APIs, and integrate vehicle information into interfaces.
- Develop and maintain both front-end and back-end components of HMI systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software issues related to HMI functionality.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack development.
- Experience working with HMI systems or related automotive software.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as C++, Python, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Pay rate: $80 - $107 per hour.
