Job Description:
We are on the Corporate Program team, which is a strategic program management arm of the business that manages the company’s most critical cross-functional priorities.

We are NOT a technical program management team supporting engineering/product development.
Examples of the types of initiatives we support are Company quarterly Earnings, Annual Planning, Public Affairs (policy and marketing), and Risk Management (data, legal, risk and compliance teams).

Within our Corporate Programs team, the hiring manager leads and manages the Consumer Marketing pod – which is where the work originates from Marketing, but includes many complex cross-functional components needed to make that program successful.

Role/Program Manager(s) Overview
We are looking for TWO program manager contractors. For these roles, we are looking to support the largest cross-functional workstreams housed primarily within our Marketing teams. While the two will be supporting different workstreams within Marketing, I’m looking for similar experience and skill levels which is why we are using one sourcing funnel.

Experience/Skills to be successful
Program Management & Execution:

  • The role requires a minimum of 4 years in program management (ideally in Large Tech or major consulting firms), leading complex, cross-functional programs.
  • The person must be able to manage a program from end-to-end, including establishing roadmaps, driving accountability, and navigating ambiguity to turn conflicting inputs into clear plans.
Operational & Process Improvement:
  • The successful candidate must have experience identifying and implementing scalable solutions to systemic challenges.
  • We need self-starters who are methodical in their problem-solving skills and decision making approaches
  • Meticulously detail-oriented and extremely clear communicators, including with senior management
  • In both roles, being comfortable with data will be a PRO.
  • For both, it would be NICE TO HAVE but not required PMP (Project Management Professional certification) as well as experience managing Product Marketing / Marketing campaign workstreams
  • Showing consistent career growth and promotions is important culturally

Role #1:  Growth Marketing
Backfill position- the previous PGM is on our team but has moved to a high company priority program. She will be available to onboard and train this individual, and there are strong foundational operations in place.
Supports Growth Marketing, aiming to increase user acquisition (how do we get more users) and engagement (how do we get those users to use the product more/get more value out of it over time). The program will be primarily tied to Incentives and Sweepstakes.

Key responsibilities and expectations:
  • Program Management: They will manage ongoing workflows between cross-functional teams to ensure a strategic campaign intake process, ensuring campaign launches don’t conflict and that the accurate approvals have happened.
  • Budget and Data:  The contractor will partner with Finance to build a proactive budget process to prevent overspending and ensure full budget utilization. They will also refine requirements to display data for Growth Incentives, Sweepstakes, and Performance Marketing in a centralized dashboard for campaign-level visibility
  • Improvements:  They will partner to implement enhancements that provide the Marketing teams with faster and easier access to data, and institute a roadmap for improved tooling/automation.
  • They will be working with Product, Marketing, Finance, Customer Experience, Legal, Data Science.

Role #2:  Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
This is a net new role, different from the previous one I mentioned, as this person will need to be comfortable with ambiguity, problem solving, and creating order in the chaos.

Supports Customer Relationship Management (CRM) workstreams, which is user engagement and communication.

Day-to-day duties of the CRM Program Manager will involve managing the operational complexity of CRM campaigns. This includes coordinating across over 15 product subgroups and numerous stakeholders. The role is focused on continuous improvement and scaling the CRM system to handle a tenfold increase in campaign volume.

Key responsibilities and expectations:
  • Program Management: Responsible for implementing standardized playbooks with clear roles and responsibilities and managing the intake and prioritization framework for CRM initiatives.

  • Coordination & Communication: A core part of the role is orchestrating user communication and balancing diverse stakeholder requests.

  • Efficiency & Optimization: Continuously seek efficiencies through process refinements and champion automation opportunities.

  • Risk Management: Strategically manage the mix, frequency, and targeting of communications to avoid over-saturation and ensure compliance. This includes providing centralized oversight to prevent "tragedy of the commons" issues where multiple teams risk over-communicating with users.
  • They will primarily be working with Marketing (CRM campaign leads), Product, Data Science, and Legal.
