Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Automation Engineer to join our team. This remote role involves ensuring the quality and efficiency of our software testing processes through automation. The ideal candidate will have experience designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts, and a strong understanding of software testing principles.
Responsibilities:
- QA Automation: Ensure quality and efficiency of software testing processes through automation.
- Test Automation Development: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright to streamline testing processes.
- Framework Design & Maintenance: Build and optimize test automation frameworks.
- Execute automated test suites and analyze test results to identify defects.
- Collaborate with developers and other QA team members to resolve issues.
- Document test plans, test cases, and test results.
- Experience with QA automation and automated testing tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.).
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., JavaScript, Python).
- Understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
- Pay rate: $25 - $35 per hour.
