Job Title: Revenue Manager

Job Location: Palo Alto, CA (Hybrid)

Job Summary:
This role will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting related to revenue, conducting detailed financial analysis, and driving enhancements within the revenue cycle. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in accounting principles, exceptional analytical capabilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively across various business units. 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage revenue accounting activities and ensure adherence to financial regulations.
  • Provide guidance on revenue recognition policies and procedures to internal stakeholders.
  • Supervise the monthly and quarterly revenue closing processes.
  • Perform comprehensive analysis of revenue data, identify trends, and deliver actionable insights.
  • Develop, implement, and refine revenue processes and controls to maximize efficiency and accuracy.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including sales, finance, and legal, to optimize revenue strategies and operations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in revenue accounting or financial analysis.
  • Solid understanding of revenue recognition standards (e.g., ASC 606 or equivalent).
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
  • Proficiency with financial management systems and reporting platforms.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
Compensation:
  • Salary range: $130,000 - $185,000 per year.
