SEC Technical Accounting Manager

Milpitas, CA (Hybrid- 3 days in office)
Job Summary:
This role will be responsible for preparing and reviewing SEC filings, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and SEC regulations, and providing technical accounting expertise. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a thorough understanding of financial reporting requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review SEC filings, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Research and interpret new accounting standards and pronouncements, providing technical accounting guidance to the finance team.
- Assist with the implementation of new accounting policies and procedures.
- Manage the external audit process related to SEC reporting and technical accounting matters.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Develop and maintain internal controls related to financial reporting processes.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or similar area; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years of accounting/finance experience.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred (active or inactiive).
- Highly detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated, and proactive; thrive on driving innovation and change that will propel the business forward.
- Salary range: $125,000 - $160,000 per year.
