Senior Scrum Master

Northeast US, (Hybrid - Remote with 2 days onsite per week)
Job Summary:
This role will be responsible for leading and facilitating Agile Scrum teams, ensuring adherence to Agile principles and practices, and driving successful project delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Scrum Master roles, a solid understanding of business operations, and the ability to effectively manage multiple initiatives in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Guide and coach Agile teams on Agile values, principles, and practices.
- Identify and remove impediments and blockers for development teams.
- Foster a self-managing and high-performing team dynamic.
- Track and communicate team progress, metrics, and challenges to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with product owners and business stakeholders to refine backlogs and prioritize work.
- Drive continuous improvement and Agile best practices across teams.
- 10+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, with some exposure to the financial sector or related industries.
- Relevant Agile certifications (e.g., CSM, PSM, ACP) preferred.
- Strong project and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives in a cross-functional setting.
- Solid understanding of business operations, strategies, and objectives.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
- Pay rate: $65 - $95 per hour.
