Job Summary:
You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Android applications for a large user base. This role requires a deep understanding of the Android platform, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for creating exceptional mobile experiences. You will participate in the full app lifecycle from concept to release, ensuring our applications are robust, scalable, and user-friendly.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and prototype Android native customer applications for internal and external use.
- Participate in the full app lifecycle: concept, design, build, deploy, test, and release to the app store.
- Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code for Android applications.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to define and implement new features.
- Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in production environments.
- Optimize applications for performance and responsiveness.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Android technologies and trends.
- Strong proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin.
- Experience building mobile applications at scale with at least 1MM users.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.
- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- $70 - $75 per hour
