Job Summary:
You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable backend systems that power our applications. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of distributed systems, a passion for writing clean and efficient code, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote environment. You will play a crucial role in building and optimizing the infrastructure that supports our growing platform.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services and APIs.
- Write clean, testable, and maintainable code in one or more general-purpose programming languages (Go, Python, Ruby, Java, C++).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in distributed systems.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and infrastructure.
- 7+ years of industry experience in large-scale distributed systems.
- 7+ years of hands-on, professional software development experience in one or more general-purpose programming languages (Go, Python, Ruby, Java, C++).
- Strong understanding of backend architecture, design patterns, and data structures.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities in a remote environment.
