Don has over 30 years of experience partnering with Accounting and Finance leaders. He joined DeWinter Group upon its launch in 2000 and now serves as President, overseeing all of DeWinter's Accounting and Finance service offerings. This includes DeWinter Consulting (on-demand interim support), DeWinter Associates (contingent search), and DeWinter Partners (strategic retained search) in both the Bay Area and Boston/New York.
Don takes pride in the lasting relationships he has built with his colleagues and clients and is passionate about organizational development and process improvement initiatives that help CFOs grow and scale their business.
Don is a proud father of four and lives in Santa Cruz; he can mostly be found coaching sports, exploring the local beaches and trails, or working around his house. A builder of community both personally and professionally, Don is always looking for ways to give back to those close to him.
