Role Overview:
As an Accounting Consultant, you will provide vital support for the company’s month-end close activities, journal entries, and account reconciliations, ensuring accurate financial reporting in a fast-paced, fully remote environment. Reporting to senior management, your expertise will help uphold the integrity of financial statements, streamline closing processes, and maintain organized documentation for a public or late-stage tech company. This is a 3-5 month engagement, ideal for seasoned accounting professionals ready to take ownership and make an immediate impact.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience with general ledger accounting and month-end close procedures.
- Strong proficiency in Netsuite.
- Expertise in journal entries, cash accounting, accruals, and reconciliations.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to independently manage responsibilities with minimal oversight.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration and reporting.
