Accounts Payable Manager

What you'll do:
- Oversee the end-to-end accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate invoice approval and payments
- Manage cash forecasting, reconciliation, and banking relationships to maintain optimal liquidity
- Serve as the primary Coupa system administrator, configuring workflows, approvals, and user roles, while troubleshooting issues and supporting system upgrades
- Supervise and mentor an AP specialist, fostering a high-performing team environment
- Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including 1099 filings and audit support
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to optimize procurement and vendor onboarding processes
- Ensure accurate period-close activities, including accrual journal entries and reconciliation of AP and related accounts
Required Skills:
- 7+ years of progressive experience in accounts payable and cash management
- Hands-on expertise with Coupa, including system administration and configuration
- Proficiency with NetSuite or similar ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
- Experience managing cash flow, bank relationships, and compliance reporting
- Strong understanding of accruals, reconciliations, and internal controls
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with international entities and multicurrency transactions
- Knowledge of Concur or other expense management systems
- Prior involvement in process improvements or system implementation projects
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- At least 7 years of relevant experience, including leadership roles in finance teams
Other Requirements:
- This is a remote role, with the expectation of PST working hours
- Short-term engagement (1-3 months), with a chance for permanent search ongoing internally
- Ability to cross-train with current team members and adapt quickly to existing processes
