Title:  AI Agent Architect
Job Type:  Contract
Contract Length:  12 months
Pay Range:  $50-175/hr
Target Start Date:  ASAP
Location:  ASAP

About the Opportunity:

Our client, a leader in AI Systems and Enterprise Solutions, is looking for a skilled AI Agent Architect  to join their team for a 12-month engagement. This project involves architecting and designing high-level multi-agent systems where specialized agents collaborate to solve enterprise-scale problems. This is a high-impact role that requires a self-motivated professional who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:

This role is focused on the successful completion of specific tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Architecting high-level multi-agent systems where specialized agents collaborate to solve enterprise-scale problems.
  • Defining the security and permission layers for agentic systems to prevent unauthorized data access during autonomous execution.
  • Selecting and benchmarking the optimal foundation models (GPT-4, Claude, Llama 3) for specific agentic reasoning tasks.
  • Designing the "Chain-of-Thought" and "Reflection" logic to improve the reasoning capabilities of the agent swarm.
  • Mentoring the development team on best practices for building scalable and reliable AI agent architectures.
Required Skills & Experience:

We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful contract engagements. The ideal candidate will have:
  • 5+ years of experience in systems architecture or high-level AI engineering.
  • Deep expertise in LLM orchestration, system design, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure). This isn't a learning role—you need to be a subject matter expert.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage your own time effectively to meet project goals.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and managing complex technical roadmaps.
  • Strong communication skills to provide clear and concise status updates to the project team.
