Job Title: Analog IC Design Engineer

Overview:
Are you passionate about pushing the boundaries of analog and mixed-signal integrated circuit design? We are seeking a talented Analog IC Design Engineer to join our innovative team. In this pivotal role, you'll develop sophisticated circuits such as data converters, amplifiers, drivers, and bandgap references that power cutting-edge control systems and precision applications. Your expertise will contribute to defining electrical requirements, supporting micro-architecture development, and ensuring seamless integration from concept to production. Required Skills:

  • MS degree with 8+ years of relevant industry experience, or Ph.D. with 5+ years of industry experience in analog and mixed-signal circuit design
  • Strong proficiency in designing control loop circuits including data converters, amplifiers, drivers, comparators, and bandgap references
  • Solid understanding of CMOS device characteristics, noise, mismatch, linearity, and trade-offs in analog design
  • Hands-on experience with Cadence Design Environment for schematic capture, simulation, and layout verification
  • Proven ability to test and validate analog circuits in a laboratory setting
  • Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively across multiple engineering disciplines

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience with photonics or laser integrated circuits
  • Knowledge of post-layout and mixed-signal top-level simulation techniques
  • Familiarity with formal design review processes and documentation standards
  • Exposure to process variation analysis and calibration techniques

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, or related field, with at least 8 years of relevant industry experience, or
  • Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, or related field, with 5+ years of experience in analog/mixed-signal IC design

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to work on-site or in a hybrid setting depending on project needs
  • Occasional travel may be required for meetings, reviews, or testing collaborations
  • Candidate must demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous learning
