A/P Manager Consultant

Overview:
Seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Accounts Payable Manager Consultant to lead and optimize the manual A/P processes during a critical transitional period. This fully remote role offers a unique opportunity to enhance process accuracy, strengthen internal controls, and implement automation solutions within a dynamic organization. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in NetSuite, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to troubleshooting and process improvement.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of comprehensive Accounts Payable experience, including managing or overseeing an A/P function
  • Strong proficiency in NetSuite for managing vendor accounts, payments, and review of A/P activity
  • Extensive experience with high-volume credit card reconciliations and detailed transaction review
  • Demonstrated ability to identify inefficiencies in manual A/P processes and implement effective improvements
  • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and discrepancy research skills
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate in a remote team environment

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience working with offshore or international accounting teams
  • Familiarity with process automation and workflow development
  • Certifications in accounting or related fields

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred
  • Proven track record in a senior/accounts payable management role in a fast-paced, manual environment
  • Prior experience using NetSuite extensively in a corporate setting

Other Requirements:

  • This position is fully remote; candidates should have their own reliable laptop and internet connection
  • Flexibility to start around 8/31/26; availability for interviews tomorrow afternoon and Friday
  • Willingness to handle credit card reconciliations and complex transactional work with minimal onboarding support initially
  • Ability to work independently, proactively, and efficiently during the contract duration of 3–4 months
