Business Analyst, Subscription Management

Required Skills:
- 4–6+ years of professional experience in business analysis, project management, or related product or process roles
- Proven expertise in subscription management platforms, billing, or pricing models, especially related to payment processes
- Strong analytical and reasoning skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis and problem resolution
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; able to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to translate complex business processes into clear technical requirements and vice versa
- Experience authoring Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), user stories, and managing Agile backlogs in tools like JIRA
- Proficiency in mapping current and future state processes using swimlane diagrams or similar modeling techniques
- Excellent organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects concurrently
- Influencing and presentation skills, with the ability to motivate teams and gain stakeholder buy-in
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with BPMN, process engineering, or business process modeling tools
- Familiarity with compliance, security, scalability, or performance requirements in subscription or billing systems
- Knowledge of financial management and analysis within a subscription-based environment
- Technical aptitude including some familiarity with development, coding, or system integration tasks
- Experience supporting change management, training, onboarding, or major organizational transitions
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field
- Demonstrated success in subscription, billing, or commercial system environments
- Prior experience working in a remote setting is a plus
Other Requirements:
- Fully remote position, supporting US-based teams and stakeholders (EST time zone preferred)
- No travel required
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams
