Business Continuity Program Manager
Overview:

In this pivotal role, you will lead and drive the strategic development, implementation, and continuous enhancement of business continuity and disaster recovery initiatives for cutting-edge Nutanix cloud products. Your expertise will ensure organizational resilience, regulatory compliance, and a culture of preparedness. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and providing insights to executive leadership, you’ll be instrumental in safeguarding business operations against disruptions and fostering robust continuity practices across the enterprise.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience managing Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) programs for software products
- Strong project management skills, including plan creation, testing, validation, and training
- Ability to identify, develop, and document new business continuity processes
- Experience implementing incident response procedures and leading organizational change
- Risk assessment and management expertise within IT or cloud environments
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to report program status, KPIs, and escalate risks effectively
- Familiarity with GRC tools such as Hyperproof, and reporting platforms like Tableau or PowerBI
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior experience in cloud services, enterprise software, or SaaS continuity planning
- Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks, certifications, and audits
- Experience working with product security teams
- Ability to develop and analyze KPIs for program success and improvement
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field; relevant certifications preferred
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in business continuity, disaster recovery, or IT risk management within a technology company
Other Requirements:
- Remote work flexibility; position is W2 only
- Ability to collaborate across global teams and manage multiple stakeholder relationships
- Must demonstrate proactive communication and issue resolution capabilities
- Willingness to support ongoing compliance and certification efforts
