About the Opportunity:
Our client, a leader in the data and AI software industry, is looking for a skilled Business Development Contractor to join their team for a 1-year engagement. This project involves managing a portfolio of named Systems Integrator (SI) partners to accelerate partnership planning, practice development, and business growth. This is a high-impact role that requires a self-motivated professional who can hit the ground running, foster strong strategic relationships, and drive adoption through collaborative sales and enablement efforts.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
This role is focused on the successful completion of specific tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:
- Partner Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of named SI partners, building and maintaining healthy, sustainable, and productive relationships.
- Partnership Growth: Expand the mindshare of our client’s platform within SI organizations by supporting the development of service offerings and promoting the relationship.
- Pipeline Advancement: Identify and advance sales pipeline opportunities and accelerate the impact of partners on platform adoption.
- Strategic Planning: Balance portfolio priorities and develop execution plans to optimize partnership outcomes, including regular meeting cadences and process improvements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with account teams, sales leaders, solution architects, delivery leaders, and marketing teams to drive cohesive outcomes and support enablement programs.
- Execution & Enablement: Support practice and skill development for SI partners through enablement programs, differentiated asset development, and internal promotion.
We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful contract engagements. The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience with SI partnership management, including a successful track record of driving fast-paced growth.
- Proficiency in portfolio management, with the ability to balance multiple priorities to optimize outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage your own time effectively to meet project goals.
- Experience working across diverse teams (e.g., sales, marketing, delivery, and operations) to drive strategic outcomes.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with a focus on creating networks and efficient processes.
- Experience with partner enablement, offering development, and relationship management.
