Job Title:
Business Process Lead – Finance Transformation
Overview:
Are you a finance process expert with a passion for driving transformation within dynamic SaaS organizations? We’re seeking a highly skilled Business Process Lead to join a leading SaaS company’s Finance Business Transformation (FBT) team. This impactful role focuses on streamlining and optimizing end-to-end finance processes supporting partner channels, ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence. This initial contract of 5 months offers a chance to shape critical processes and potentially extend your engagement with a forward-thinking organization.
Required Skills:
- Deep expertise in quote-to-cash processes, especially in partner/channel models (resell, referral, distribution, marketplaces)
- Strong knowledge of quoting, billing, and revenue recognition specific to partner transactions
- Proven project leadership experience managing cross-functional initiatives impacting finance systems
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications and lead UAT efforts
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Hands-on experience with SaaS finance and revenue tools such as Salesforce, CPQ, Oracle, RevPro/RevRec (preferred)
- Prior experience collaborating with Partner RevOps, Revenue Accounting, or Finance Transformation teams (preferred)
Nice to Have Skills:
- Familiarity with finance controls, process mapping, and auditability standards
- Experience working in SaaS or technology-driven environments with complex partner ecosystems
- Knowledge of finance systems integration and troubleshooting
- Certifications related to project management, finance, or systems (e.g., PMP, CPA, CFP)
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in finance process improvement, transformation projects, or partner/channel finance roles
Other Requirements:
- Location: Hybrid work structure based in San Francisco, CA
- Availability to start by August 24, 2024
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
- No specific travel requirements, but flexibility to support cross-functional meetings as needed
