About the Opportunity
Our client, a leading SaaS technology company, is looking for a skilled Business Process Lead – Q2C & Partner RevOps to join their Business Transformation team for an initial 5-month engagement.
Please note: This is NOT a traditional accounting or downstream finance role. We are explicitly seeking candidates with SaaS RevOps and Quote-to-Cash backgrounds, not those focused on month-end close, invoicing, or collections.
This is a high-impact, project-focused role acting as the primary subject matter expert for end-to-end Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) business processes that support the Partner channel. Working closely with Partner RevOps and cross-functional transformation teams, you will ensure that all partner projects, deal structuring workflows, and run-the-business (RTB) activities are designed, executed, and optimized for operational efficiency across the partner ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables
This role is focused on the successful design, execution, and troubleshooting of specific Q2C and partner deal workflows. Your responsibilities will include:
-
Quote-to-Cash Process Ownership: Own and articulate the end-to-end Q2C business processes supporting the Partner channel, focusing heavily on quoting, deal structuring, contracting workflows, and partner order placement.
-
Project Delivery & Process Improvement: Act as the Process Lead on cross-functional Q2C projects. Translate business objectives into clear requirements, use cases, and acceptance criteria to drive process improvement. (This is not a pure operator role; project experience is required).
-
Salesforce & CPQ Optimization: Triage and lead resolution for partner-related Q2C process issues, bugs, and enhancements across CRM and CPQ systems.
-
UAT Execution: Lead or co-lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning and execution for partner projects, including test design, execution, and defect triage in Salesforce/CPQ environments.
-
Process Mapping & Controls: Maintain and socialize current-state and future-state process maps and RACI models for partner order and contracting workflows.
-
Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships and represent the Q2C/RevOps perspective in partner forums, scrum sessions, and design reviews.
Required Skills & Experience
We are looking for a highly autonomous subject matter expert with a proven track record of successful cross-functional Q2C engagements within the SaaS/subscription software industry.
The ideal candidate must have:
-
Target Background: Proven experience as a Q2C Lead, RevOps Analyst, or Partner RevOps Manager in a SaaS environment. (Candidates with traditional month-end/quarter-end close or downstream finance backgrounds will not be considered).
-
Partner Channel Expertise: Deep understanding of partner order and contracting workflows, including partner deal structuring (resell, referral, distribution, or marketplaces).
-
Advanced Salesforce Proficiency: Deep, hands-on expertise with Salesforce (Accounts, Opportunities, Quotes, CPQ, and Reporting).
-
CPQ Experience: Strong experience with Conga/Aptus CPQ (Strongly Preferred) or Salesforce CPQ.
-
Project Leadership: Demonstrated experience leading process improvement and cross-functional Q2C projects—not just operating within existing processes.
-
Business Translation & UAT: Proven ability to translate business needs into structured technical requirements and successfully lead UAT.
-
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and challenge stakeholders at all levels.
