About the Opportunity:
Our client, a leader in the Technology and Media industry, is looking for a skilled Business Systems Analyst (Finance Systems) to join their team for a long-term engagement. This project involves driving key initiatives to enhance and scale financial systems and processes as part of a significant finance transformation roadmap. This is a high-impact role that requires a self-motivated professional who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
This role is focused on the successful completion of specific tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:
- Drive key projects to enhance and scale financial systems and processes, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends and develop timely reports, dashboards, and presentations for actionable insights.
- Assist in the planning, execution, and tracking of finance-related projects to ensure on-time and in-scope completion.
- Engage with both functional and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into clear, actionable plans.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for projects, processes, and systems, and effectively communicate progress and findings.
We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful contract engagements. The ideal candidate will have:
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a finance or corporate setting.
- Deep expertise in implementing and supporting third-party finance solutions (e.g., planning tools such as Anaplan, TM1, or Adaptive Planning). This isn't a learning role—you need to be a subject matter expert.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage your own time effectively to meet project goals.
- Proven ability to facilitate process, document business requirements, and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions.
- Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile) and PM software platforms (e.g., Smartsheets, JIRA) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven recommendations.
- Strong communication skills to provide clear and concise status updates to the project team.
