Client Billing Representative 
Permanent 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review, prepare, and finalize client invoices in accordance with attorney and client guidelines.
     

  • Monitor and verify daily billing activity for accuracy and completeness.
     

  • Generate time and billing reports using specialized database software.
     

  • Print and distribute attorney pre-bills and billing-related reports; create custom (ad hoc) reports as requested by attorneys or clients.
     

  • Provide training and support to attorneys and staff on billing tools including ExpertImage, iTimekeep, and PrebillManager.
     

  • Demonstrate adaptability and a willingness to learn and utilize a variety of third-party e-billing platforms.
     

  • Serve as a backup for the Client Billing team during absences and assist other Finance areas as needed.
     

 


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate’s degree in Management, Finance, or a related field required.
     

  • Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in an accounting or billing role preferred.
     

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
     

  • Prior experience working in a law firm setting is highly preferred.

  • Excellent grammar, spelling, and proofreading skills, with strong attention to both content and context.
     

  • Outstanding organizational abilities, attention to detail, and the flexibility to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities under pressure.
     

  • Proactive in taking ownership of responsibilities with strong follow-through and time management.
     

  • Solid foundation in basic math and accounting principles; aptitude for numerical accuracy and working with financial data and billing systems.
     

  • Ability to perform accurate and consistent calculations quickly, particularly in the context of accounting or spreadsheet work.
