Job Type: Contract
Contract Length: 6+ months
Target Start Date: January 6, 2026
Work Location/Structure: Hybrid in Foster City (3 days in office)
About the Opportunity:
Our client, a leader in Autonomous Vehicle Technology, is looking for a skilled Communications & Change Management Consultant to join their team for a 6+ months engagement. This project involves developing and executing internal communication and change-enablement strategies focused on ensuring stakeholders are compliant and have a single source of truth for all procurement policies. This is a high-impact role that requires a self-motivated professional who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly. The role requires a strong writer and strategic thinker with exceptional project-management skills and the ability to navigate complexity in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate excels at building cross-functional partnerships, simplifying complex information, and helping teams understand and adopt change through clear communication and well-organized information.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
This role is focused on the successful completion of specific tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:
- Develop and execute internal communication plans that support team goals, values, and strategic priorities.
- Organize, publish, and maintain content across internal systems—including Confluence and the company intranet—building pages and optimizing information architecture for clarity and usability.
- Lead communications for change initiatives, including new tools, systems, and processes, ensuring clarity, transparency, and adoption readiness.
- Develop and support internal and supplier training programs, documentation, toolkits, and learning materials to drive successful adoption of new capabilities.
- Create compelling internal content, including intranet articles, newsletters, email announcements, presentations, and produce multimedia content such as short videos, and micro-learning snippets.
We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful contract engagements. The ideal candidate will have:
- 6–8 years of internal or corporate communications experience in a dynamic environment.
- Deep expertise in building and maintaining intranet and Confluence environments, including content organization and site structure. This isn't a learning role—you need to be a subject matter expert.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage your own time effectively to meet project goals, with strong project-management capabilities to prioritize and self-manage across competing priorities.
- Experience supporting organizational change and technology/tool rollouts. Familiarity with change-management communication frameworks is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to clearly and succinctly present creative work and logic to stakeholders, and exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills to simplify complex topics
