Contracts Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of procurement and technology contracts, including security and data privacy agreements.
- Identify and mitigate contractual, legal, and commercial risks through thorough review and collaboration with legal, privacy, and security teams.
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to resolve contract-related issues efficiently.
- Ensure adherence to corporate policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements throughout the contracting process.
- Work closely with legal, finance, security, and business teams to align contract strategies with organizational goals.
- Manage contract processes from intake to execution, utilizing contract management tools to drive efficiency and visibility.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2+ years managing commercial contracts within procurement, sourcing, or legal environments.
- Proven ability to draft, review, and negotiate complex agreements with precision.
- Strong understanding of commercial contract law, data security, and privacy regulations.
- Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
- Effective communicator with the ability to build cross-functional relationships.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Familiarity with SaaS, cybersecurity, internet infrastructure, OEM suppliers, or marketing technology solutions.
- Experience with contract management tools and systems.
Preferred Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in commercial contracting within technology, cybersecurity, or internet infrastructure industries.
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment in Austin, TX.
- Experience supporting end-to-end contract processes, from planning to post-signature reviews.
- Strong independent work ethic with a proactive problem-solving approach.
