About the Opportunity:
Our client, a leader in Financial Technology, is looking for a skilled Creative Director, Owned Channel Marketing to join their team for a 6 month engagement. This project involves leading and shaping the creative work for one of the most essential, member-impacting product areas in the company and defining the go-to-market narratives for new, category-shaping financial tools. This is a high-impact role that requires a self-motivated professional who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
This role is focused on the successful completion of specific tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead the Creative Vision: Lead the creative vision for Owned Channel creative marketing through compelling campaign narratives and platform-ready concepts.
- Develop Integrated Systems: Develop integrated creative systems that scale across owned digital channels, lifecycle marketing, and high-frequency personalized messaging.
- Uphold Creative Bar: Establish and uphold a high creative bar, producing breakthrough work that drives measurable results—shaping perception, deepening trust, and inspiring member action.
- Present to Leadership: Present creative work and campaign strategy to senior leadership with clarity, confidence, and a compelling creative point of view.
- Guide and Mentor: Provide strong, directional guidance to creative teams and external partners, ensuring consistency, creativity, and craft across deliverables; mentor and develop a high-performing team.
We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful contract engagements. The ideal candidate will have:
- 8+ years of experience in creative leadership developing high-performing direct response or performance-driven campaigns for well-known B2C brands.
- Deep expertise in leading and developing creative teams in fast-paced environments, with proven ability to lead writers and designers who thrive in metrics-driven creative environments. This isn't a learning role—you need to be a subject matter expert.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage your own time effectively to meet project goals.
- Experience with a portfolio showcasing high-impact campaign work that drove measurable performance outcomes.
- Strong communication skills to provide clear and concise status updates to the project team, coupled with strong familiarity with financial services or similarly regulated industries.
