Data Entry Specialist - Senior
6+ Month Contract
Hybrid Marlborough MA
Required:
  • 2–7 years of experience in an applicable corporate accounting, finance, or real estate operations role.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with a proven ability to independently track high-volume expenditures (~3,200+ invoices / $4M+) and maintain error-free logs timely and accurately.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong multi-tasking skills, with the ability to cross-reference complex department schedules, identify pricing errors, and prioritize a high-volume workload independently.
  • Working knowledge of invoice processing workflows and digital signature software (such as DocuSign).
Preferred:
  • Experience with enterprise software such as Oracle ERP and Lucernex system applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze systemic coding errors, raise potential risks to leadership, and ideate process improvements that remediate financial discrepancies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams, project managers, and external vendors/contractors.
The Role: We are seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated Data Entry Specialist - Senior to join our Real Estate Financial Planning & Analysis team. In this proactive role, you will administer payment processing, general accounting, and compliance functions across exterior signage, special projects, and architecture & engineering (A&E) streams. You will serve as a vital financial partner, cross-referencing multi-departmental project schedules to ensure line items are accurately coded and reconciled to Oracle accounts.
Beyond routine invoice processing, you will act as a key line of defense against financial inaccuracies—identifying duplicate billings, resolving pricing issues with vendor partners, and maintaining precise spend tracking logs. The ideal candidate utilizes independent discretion and past institutional insights to solve operational bottlenecks, mitigate risk, and streamline financial reporting for management.
