Title:  Graphic Designer
Job Type:  Contract
Contract Length:  6 months
Target Start Date:  ASAP
Work Location/Structure:  Remote / W2 Only

About the Opportunity:

Our client, a leader in Financial Technology, is looking for a skilled  Designer  to join their team for a 6 month engagement. This project involves bringing the brand to life in various marketing assets, by utilizing the brand design system, including brand guidelines, style guides, and templates, to deliver high-bar design across digital campaigns, collateral, email marketing, event signage, swag, and more. This is a high-impact role that requires a self-motivated professional who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:

This role is focused on the successful completion of specific tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Working mostly independently through fast-paced creative workflows to deliver high-bar and impactful creative marketing assets, while balancing strategic inputs and technical constraints.
  • Working with PM’s and creative leads to understand strategic creative briefs and/or design tickets, evaluating and proposing design solutions and iterating in response to stakeholder feedback before finalizing and delivering creative assets.
  • Clearly and succinctly presenting creative work and logic to stakeholders across Marketing and other organizations, tailoring communication to the audience and explaining technical issues in a way that is easy to understand.
  • Seeking and maintaining up-to-date expertise and creative best-practices.
  • Flagging potential bottlenecks and roadblocks, and communicating project status with Project Managers regularly.
  • Maintaining relationships with peers and common business partners, encouraging trust and positive collaboration.
  • Continually elevating personal creative bar and output, indirectly elevating creative bar of the team.
Required Skills & Experience:

We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful contract engagements. The ideal candidate will have:
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Deep expertise in utilizing brand design systems, including brand guidelines, style guides, and templates, and using creative and project management tools such as Figma, Slack, Asana, and miscellaneous AI tools. This isn't a learning role—you need to be a subject matter expert.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage your own time effectively to meet project goals, consistently delivering error-free, on-time work.
  • Experience with fast-paced creative workflows and collaborating closely with other creative disciplines and across the Marketing organization.
  • Strong communication skills to provide clear and concise status updates to the project team and present creative work and logic to stakeholders.
