Director, Enterprise Architecture
Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Director of Enterprise Architecture to lead transformative initiatives within a fast-growing SaaS organization. This pivotal role focuses on unifying siloed sales and finance operations—specifically in GTM (Salesforce, Ironclad, Marketo) and Finance (NetSuite, Coupa, LogiSense)—by re-engineering critical business processes like Lead-to-Cash, Order-to-Cash, CPQ, and billing. As a strategic technical leader, you will work closely with executive teams to establish robust architecture standards, streamline integrations, and innovate with AI-driven automation, ensuring scalable and resilient enterprise systems. This is a unique opportunity for a hands-on architect to shape the future of enterprise technology in a high-velocity environment.
Required Skills:
- 12+ years of proven enterprise architecture, integrations, and business technology experience within high-growth SaaS settings.
- Demonstrated hands-on expertise with architecture design, system integration, and complex workflows.
- Deep mastery of Salesforce, with strong experience in Workato, NetSuite, Coupa, Ironclad, or LogiSense preferred.
- Expertise in building and managing cross-functional data pipelines such as Lead-to-Cash, CPQ, and automated billing processes.
- Practical knowledge of applying AI, large language models (LLMs), and automation techniques within enterprise workflows.
- Exceptional communication skills with the credibility to influence senior leadership and technical teams.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience in governance of enterprise architecture and establishing EA review boards.
- Familiarity with API management frameworks, iPaaS solutions, and secure AI integration practices.
- Experience working with high-caliber consultants and leading architectural reviews.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- 12+ years in enterprise IT, architecture, or technical leadership roles, especially within SaaS or cloud-native applications.
Other Requirements:
- Location: Hybrid (onsite Tuesdays and Thursdays) in San Francisco, CA.
- Ability to start immediately.
- Experience navigating complex organizational environments with high sensitivity.
- Additional certifications in enterprise architecture or cloud platforms are a plus.
