What You'll Do:
- Design and develop power, control, mixed-signal, and high-speed interconnect circuits aligned with rigorous system specifications.
- Perform hands-on board bring-up, verification, and integration, tackling real-world hardware challenges with precision.
- Develop comprehensive test plans to characterize and validate system and board-level performance.
- Apply industry best practices such as SI/PI and DfX to ensure optimal product reliability, manufacturability, and quality.
- Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams, external vendors, and contract manufacturers to drive project success.
- Contribute to design reviews and maintain detailed technical documentation, including design notes and test reports.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and components to continuously enhance product capabilities.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 3+ years.
- Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB design using Altium or equivalent EDA tools.
- Hands-on experience with hardware debugging, signal testing, and lab experiments.
- Familiarity with PLM systems such as Arena.
- Strong understanding of high-speed interfaces like PCIe, DDR, Ethernet, or SerDes.
- Solid knowledge of Signal Integrity (SI), Power Integrity (PI), and best practices in design.
- Ability to script using Python or similar languages for automation and testing purposes.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Background in networking, photonics, or high-performance hardware industries.
- Experience with advanced manufacturing and assembly methodologies.
- Knowledge of standard electronic manufacturing test processes.
- Experience working with complex high-speed interface standards and related design challenges.
Preferred Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience designing sophisticated electrical systems.
- Demonstrated success in high-speed circuit design and hardware development.
