Electronics Engineer – Innovate at the Forefront of Automotive Technology

In this hands-on role, you'll collaborate closely with electrical engineers to build, test, and refine vehicle components and PCB assemblies, helping to scale prototypes into high-volume production. Your expertise will keep our labs organized, ensure rapid testing cycles, and support the development of next-generation automotive electronics that push the boundaries of performance and safety.
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 2+ years hands-on experience in electronic product assembly and prototype work
- Proficiency in reworking and assembling multi-layer PCBs and cable harnesses with industry-standard connectors (TE, Molex, Deutsch)
- Skilled in soldering, rework, and working under a microscope to ensure precision
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and BOMs
- Proficient with lab equipment including DMMs, power supplies, and electronic loads
- Strong mechanical aptitude with common hand tools used in electronic assembly
- Excellent technical documentation and communication skills
- Competent in using MacOS or Windows environments and web-based applications
- Self-starter with demonstrated ability to work effectively in fast-paced, collaborative settings
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience diagnosing electrical systems or troubleshooting safety-critical electronics in harsh environments (vehicles, aerospace, etc.)
- PCB design skills using Altium or KiCAD
- CAD proficiency in Altium Designer or SolidWorks
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Linux environments
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Technical diploma or bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred
- Prior experience working with automotive-grade electronics and systems in safety-critical or harsh environments
Other Requirements:
- Onsite presence in Foster City, CA, with 5 days in the office weekly
- Occasional travel within the Bay Area required
- Ability to operate and maintain lab equipment and manage inventory of components and tools
