About the Opportunity:

Our client, a leader in AV, is looking for a skilled  Employee Communications Manager  to join their team for a 6-month engagement. This project involves developing and executing comprehensive internal communication strategies that inform, engage, and inspire employees. This is a high-impact role that requires a highly skilled writer and strategic thinker with strong project management capabilities who can navigate complexity, is capable of working in a fast-paced environment, and collaborating effectively across all levels of the organization. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in fostering a positive and cohesive company culture through effective communication.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:

This role is focused on the successful completion of specific tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Communication Strategy Development:  Design and implement internal communication plans and initiatives that align with company goals, values, and strategic priorities.
  • Content Creation and Curation:  Develop compelling and consistent content for various internal channels, including company-wide emails, intranet articles, presentations, newsletters, executive communications, announcements, and manage complex employee education materials.
  • All-Hands Meetings & Events:  Plan, manage, and execute all-hands meetings, and other company-wide events, including agenda development, content creation, speaker coordination, and logistical oversight.
  • Executive Communications Support:  Partner with senior leadership to craft key messages and develop communication materials for internal audiences.
  • Change Management Communications:  Develop and deliver communication strategies to support organizational change initiatives, ensuring clarity and transparency for employees.
  • Project Management:  Manage multiple communication projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output. Create and continuously improve workflows, templates to bring order to complex, cross-functional work.
Required Skills & Experience:

We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful contract engagements. The ideal candidate will have:
  • 6-8 years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or a related field, preferably within a fast-paced, dynamic organization.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a strong ability to translate complex information into clear, concise, and engaging content. This isn't a learning role—you need to be a subject matter expert.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage your own time effectively to meet project goals.
  • Proven experience planning and executing company-wide events, particularly all-hands meetings.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and work independently across multiple, complex workstreams. Ability to thrive amid ambiguity and changing priorities; proactively anticipates needs, risks, and interdependencies. Comfortable owning ambiguous work and unblocking cross-functional gaps. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with senior executives and stakeholders at all levels. Experience with various internal communication platforms and tools (e.g., intranet platforms, email marketing tools, presentation software). Experience with collaboration/project management tools (e.g., Asana/Jira/Google suite) and basic analytics/reporting. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing priorities, and manage multiple projects concurrently. A collaborative spirit and strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to building positive working relationships. Experience with change management communication principles is a plus.
