Position Overview

We are seeking a Fixed Assets Consultant to support an ERP implementation with a primary focus on fixed asset accounting processes and data migration. This role will play a critical part in preparing, validating, and reconciling fixed asset data while ensuring SAP Fixed Assets functionality aligns with accounting policies and internal controls.

The ideal candidate combines strong fixed asset accounting knowledge with hands-on SAP experience and advanced data analysis capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead large-scale cleansing, validation, and normalization of fixed asset data to ensure accuracy and completeness ahead of ERP migration.
  • Identify discrepancies and perform detailed reconciliations between legacy systems and the new ERP environment.
  • Leverage advanced formulas, scripts, and automation tools to streamline data analysis, remediation, and reconciliation efforts.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Accounting and IT teams to validate data integrity and ensure successful migration outcomes.
  • Support SAP Fixed Assets configuration, system validation, and process alignment with accounting policies.
  • Execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) across the full fixed asset lifecycle, including capitalization, depreciation, transfers, retirements, and reporting.
  • Perform post-migration balance validations, assist with issue resolution, and document testing results and control considerations.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of fixed asset accounting and lifecycle processes
  • Hands-on experience with SAP Fixed Assets, including testing or ERP implementation support. Advanced analytical skills with the ability to work with large, complex datasets
  • Experience using Excel formulas, scripts, or automation tools for data cleansing and analysis
  • Ability to clearly document processes and findings for audit and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field
