FP&A Manager / Senior Manager
Join a dynamic, fast-paced SaaS company in the South Bay as an FP&A Manager or Senior Manager. In this highly hands-on, strategic role, you will be central to driving financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and performance analytics that support the company's growth trajectory. Working closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams, your insights will shape key business decisions and optimize operational efficiency in a rapidly evolving environment. Required Skills:
- 6-8 years of experience in Corporate FP&A, including deep knowledge of SaaS business models and unit economics.
- Proven proficiency in building and maintaining dynamic financial models, forecasts, and budgets, with ownership of the entire process.
- Advanced expertise in Google Sheets and familiarity with AI tools like ChatGPT or Claude.
- Experience with financial planning platforms such as Adaptive Planning or similar.
- Strong background in financial analysis, variance analysis, and strategic analytics to identify trends and value drivers.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting complex data clearly and effectively to executive stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage shifting priorities, execute with precision, and operate with high ownership and accuracy.
- Experience with NetSuite and SaaS financial systems is a plus.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Investment banking experience or top-tier analyst background, providing valuation and transaction-level expertise.
- Familiarity with cloud FP&A and CPM tools like Workday Adaptive Planning or Anaplan.
- Hands-on experience with core SaaS systems such as Salesforce and procurement platforms.
- Exposure to private equity-backed technology companies.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Relevant industry experience, especially in high-growth SaaS environments.
- Additional experience with SEC reporting, financial modeling, and cross-departmental collaboration.
Other Requirements:
- This is a 2-3 month contract position with the potential for extension and conversion based on fit.
- Location: On-site in Santa Clara approximately one day every other week or two days a month; flexible candidates are encouraged.
- No specific travel requirements outside of the onsite visits.
- This role requires a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual with a strategic mindset and a hands-on approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
