We're partnering with a leading healthcare organization that is embarking on a high-impact finance transformation initiative and is seeking a seasoned Finance Consultant to help redesign its financial planning and model.
This is a strategic consulting engagement where you'll collaborate with executive leadership to develop a new framework that will support long-term organizational planning and decision-making.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead cross-functional workshops with executive stakeholders to design a new financial planning and funds allocation model.
- Analyze historical financial and operational data across multiple business units to identify trends, validate assumptions, and support future-state planning.
- Partner with finance analysts to build data-driven models and close information gaps.
- Develop executive presentations, recommendations, and implementation roadmaps for senior leadership.
- Drive program execution across multiple workstreams, managing timelines, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communication.
- Support organizational change by helping leaders transition to a new enterprise governance and financial planning framework.
- 12+ years of progressive Finance, FP&A, or Finance Transformation experience.
- 5+ years supporting healthcare organizations, with hospital or academic medical center experience strongly preferred.
- Deep expertise in:
- Enterprise FP&A
- Budgeting and long-range financial planning
- Scenario modeling and financial forecasting
- P&L management
- Executive financial reporting
- Finance transformation or governance initiatives
- Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional programs involving executive stakeholders.
- Strong executive communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, build consensus, and influence senior leaders.
- Previous consulting experience (Big 4 or boutique consulting firms is a plus).
- MBA or advanced degree in Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
- Experience implementing enterprise governance models or large-scale finance transformation initiatives.
