Our client is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Global Assistant Controller (Contractor)
to join their finance team. This role is pivotal in managing the global accounting operations for their growing SaaS organization, which includes multiple foreign and domestic subsidiaries. The ideal candidate has strong technical accounting expertise, a proven track record in global consolidations, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. This position is fully remote (2-3 month engagement) and will be considered for the permanent opening.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading the Accounting Team for a $150M SaaS Company. Will Report directly to the Global Controller.
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations (except Revenue) for global entities, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and local statutory requirements.
- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes across all entities, including intercompany eliminations and global consolidation.
- Coordinate with international finance teams and outsourced providers to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Support integration of newly acquired entities and ensure alignment with global accounting policies.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to accounting team members, both domestic and international.
- Proven record of Leading G/L Teams. Will be leading all G/L activities with the exception of Revenue. Approximately 3 Direct Reports and 15 Indirect Reports.
- Must have Tech/SaaS company experience
- SAP (On Prem) experience preferred. FCCS, Workiva and FloQast is a plus.
- Must have experience leading Global Teams
- Strong G/L Experience is required
