Profile:
- Manager or Director-level role within procurement operations. The core focus will be supplier onboarding and management, which includes ticket management. All requisitions are reviewed by the manager to ensure proper coding and accuracy, requiring strong attention to detail.
- The ideal candidate will be comfortable with desktop procedures and documentation, building materials, and supporting training for the global transformation team. This person must also be willing to roll up their sleeves, get into the weeds, and handle hands-on work as needed.
- This person will be working with high level stakeholders within the company so there is a level of “white-glove” customer service when working with these people.

Summary: Our SF based Crypto/blockchain Client is looking for a Global Procurement Manager or Director level contractor to join our Financial Operations Team and contribute pivotally to Ripple’s global financial operations processes. You will report directly to the Director of Financial Operations, based in the San Francisco HQ office. This role is a critical leadership role responsible for developing and executing global procurement strategies to optimize costs, simplify and automate the buying experience, and drive value across the global organization. This role will lead a team of procurement professionals and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to manage the end-to-end procurement process, from sourcing and negotiation to supplier management and performance monitoring. The ideal candidate will possess excellent negotiation skills, a strong understanding of accounting, and a proven track record of driving procurement excellence in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
- Bachelor’s Degree (Degree in Business Administration/Accounting/Finance is preferred)
- Minimum of 8+ years in the field of Procurement and Supplier Management
- Experience within P2P operations
- Customer service mindset
- Advanced knowledge of Excel required
- Familiarity with enterprise accounting systems (Oracle Fusion Cloud and/or high-tier accounting systems is a plus)
- Proficiency with Google Workspace, Freshervice, Zip
- Excellent time and project management skills and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently through complex tasks, drive initiatives with cross-functional teams, and present solutions
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and self-driven initiative
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Previous experience working within a high-growth SaaS company.
