- 5+ years owning general HR functions- leaves, benefits, staying current on changing laws, tracking new hire training completion, updating employees contributions, etc for payroll
- Experience maintaining, filing, and updating LOA’s
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Demonstrated experience with an HRIS system (e.g., Paylocity, Workday, ADP, UKG) is required.
- Strong basic Excel skills
- Experience administering FMLA and managing employee benefits.
- Experience managing TIAA (retirement) growth contributions and navigating the changing laws related to payroll.
- Paylocity system experience
- Experience working within Academia

This role will focus primarily on high-priority HR administrative and project-based tasks, including benefits administration, FMLA management, HRIS data integrity, and compliance with state-specific forms. The ideal candidate is a strong writer with proven project management skills and is comfortable working with HR technology. This is a temporary assignment, providing critical support during a peak workload period.
