About the Opportunity:
Our client, a leader in AI-first Data Center/Enterprise Infrastructure, is looking for a skilled Integrations Engineer (Workato & NetSuite | Finance Systems) to join their Strategy and Transformation team for an Initial Contract (Likely to Convert) engagement. This project involves architecting, developing, and implementing scalable integrations across their Finance and Accounting ecosystem using Workato, with a critical focus on building and operating integrations that connect and extend NetSuite and related finance applications. This is a high-impact role that requires a self-motivated professional who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
This role is focused on the successful completion of specific tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:
- Architect and implement integrations using Workato to connect NetSuite with other Enterprise Systems.
- Design, build, and support NetSuite-centered integrations, including:
- NetSuite SuiteTalk (REST/SOAP) patterns, connector-based workflows, and custom API-based approaches.
- Integrations for NetSuite objects/processes such as Customers, Vendors, Items, Chart of Accounts, GL postings, Invoicing, Billing, Payments, Journal Entries, and related master/transaction data flows.
- Integrate across finance functions including FP&A, Revenue Accounting, AP, AR, Treasury, Tax, and Billing.
- Build, deploy, and manage RESTful APIs, native connectors, and event-driven integrations enabling real-time data synchronization and process automation.
- Establish Workato integration best practices: recipe design standards, versioning, environment promotion, error handling, retries, idempotency, rate limiting, alerting, and runbook-driven operations.
- Ensure comprehensive observability, traceability, and lifecycle management across integrations (logs, metrics, dashboards, audit trails).
- Utilize GenAI tools (Cursor, ChatGPT, Codex) to enhance automation in finance processes and accelerate integration development.
- Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, IT, Security, and Engineering teams to deliver secure, compliant integrations.
We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful contract engagements. The ideal candidate will have:
- 5–10 years of hands-on experience building, delivering, and operating integrations using Workato and NetSuite, including production ownership in complex enterprise environments.
- Deep expertise in Workato (building and maintaining recipes, connectors, and reusable components) and strong experience integrating with NetSuite (SuiteTalk REST/SOAP, record/transaction model). This isn't a learning role—you need to be a subject matter expert.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage your own time effectively to meet project goals.
- Experience with Solid experience designing RESTful APIs and event-driven integration architectures, and growing proficiency in software development with Python, JavaScript, and familiarity with GenAI tools.
- Strong communication skills to provide clear and concise status updates to the project team.
