Integrations Engineer (Workato & NetSuite | Finance Systems)

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust integrations between NetSuite, Workato, and other enterprise financial systems.
- Build and support integrations involving NetSuite objects such as Customers, Vendors, Items, Invoices, Billing, Payments, Journal Entries, and Master Data.
- Leverage NetSuite SuiteTalk REST/SOAP APIs, webhooks, and custom endpoints to enable seamless data flow.
- Create automation workflows to connect finance functions including FP&A, Revenue Accounting, Accounts Payable and Receivable, Treasury, Tax, and Billing.
- Develop real-time APIs and event-driven architectures for continuous data synchronization.
- Establish best practices for recipe design, versioning, error handling, retries, and operational management within Workato.
- Ensure observability and traceability through logs, metrics, dashboards, and audit trails.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, IT, Security, and Engineering teams to deliver secure, compliant integrations.
- Utilize GenAI tools (like ChatGPT, Codex) to enhance automation solutions and expedite integration development.
Required Skills
- 5–10 years of proven experience with enterprise integrations, especially using Workato and NetSuite.
- Mastery of Workato recipe creation, connector development, and operational support.
- Deep understanding of NetSuite integration techniques, including SuiteTalk REST and SOAP, and transaction modeling.
- Strong domain expertise in finance processes: FP&A, Revenue Accounting, AP/AR, Treasury, Tax, Billing.
- Experience implementing RESTful API designs and event-driven integration architectures.
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python and JavaScript, with familiarity in GenAI tools.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with NetSuite SuiteScript, workflows, and saved searches.
- Development of custom Workato connectors using SDK.
- Knowledge of NetSuite governance limits, performance optimization, and monitoring strategies.
- Familiarity with ERP and finance technology stacks and compliance standards such as SOX.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Equivalent professional experience in enterprise integration engineering roles.
- Prior experience managing large-scale financial ecosystems in complex organizations.
Other Requirements
- Availability for 2-3 days on-site in Belleview or Sunnyvale.
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills to translate technical solutions to business teams.
