About the Opportunity:
Our client, a leader in Financial Technology, is looking for a skilled Internal Communications Manager to join their team for a 6 months (Part-Time) engagement. This project involves delivering strategic, company-wide messaging in support of company priorities, driving change management, and influencing company performance and culture through creative storytelling, with an innovative focus on communication in the age of AI. This is a high-impact role that requires a self-motivated professional who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
This role is focused on the successful completion of specific tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:
- Offer strategic guidance to our leaders and cross-functional partners, ensuring alignment with overarching goals (Core partners include Software, Payments, Financial Services, and Engineering teams).
- Be the team’s go-to for all things product communications for our employees.
- Craft compelling communications that empower our leaders to convey key messages effectively, reaching the intended audiences at the optimal moments.
- Champion communication practices that foster an inclusive and supportive environment for our hybrid workforce.
- Drive change management and connect the day-to-day to business needs, while providing counsel to senior leaders.
We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful contract engagements. The ideal candidate will have:
- 8+ years of corporate communications experience (employee communications experience preferred).
- Deep expertise in strategic messaging, change management, and creative storytelling for a company-wide audience. This isn't a learning role—you need to be a subject matter expert.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage your own time effectively to meet project goals.
- Experience with communicating about financial technology or product launches and announcements and navigating a fast-moving, growing organization.
- Strong communication skills to provide clear and concise status updates to the project team, including experience with slide design and narrative crafting.
- W2 only (No C2C or 1099 contractors)
